The Icehouse 20th Anniversary

The Icehouses’ CEO Gavin Lennox engaged us at Previously to come up with ways in which The Icehouse and Icehouse Ventures could communicate their unique stories from the past 20 years, in the context of New Zealand’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. We worked closely with The Icehouse team and David Williams (writer) to bring the idea to life through a core publication for their anniversary event (which was unfortunately postponed due to COVID-19). 

We were tasked with creating a unique graphic language to communicate time, the ups and downs, successes and failures, that happen within every business owner or entrepreneur's journey. It resulted in a typographic system where numbers and words come together to create distinctive and unexpected graphic formations.

Previously created a 20th Anniversary publication for The Icehouse and Icehouse Ventures, which aims to reflect on the trials and tribulations within those first two decades. The publication highlights unique stories in the context of where New Zealand is now, and where it will be in the future.
